How to Disinfect a Used Piercing
Wash with lukewarm water and mild soap
Disinfect according to the material:
Surgical steel, titanium, 14K+ gold:
Soak in 70% isopropyl alcohol (5–10 min) or
Boil 3–5 min (only if no stones or delicate parts).
Jewelry with stones or enamel:
Clean with 70% alcohol using sterile gauze (do not submerge).
Dry with sterile gauze or paper towel.
Store in a clean, dry, sealed container.
Do not: use bleach, perfumes, mix products, or share without cleaning first.
